Neuro-Informed Brain Mapping Assessment: $499. This covers my in-depth review of your brain mapping report, integration with your Therapy Blueprint, and creation of your customized treatment plan.

Brain Mapping Assessment (Institute Fee): $249. This is paid directly to the institute that I collaborate with and includes the assessment, full report, and one year of access. You receive a 50% discount when completing the assessment through my practice. This means you can complete brain mapping at the beginning of your therapeutic process and again approximately one year later, allowing us to compare changes over time and track your neurological progress. This approach helps us see not only how you feel subjectively, but also how your brain has shifted as a result of the work we are doing together.

This assessment allows us to gain a deeper, more precise understanding of how your brain is wired and functioning. For example, it can help identify patterns associated with ADHD, ADD, anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, traumatic brain injury, and other challenges, as well as highlight which areas of the brain may need additional attention. Based on these findings, I create a highly customized treatment plan that integrates brain-based modalities with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ensuring that our work is targeted, intentional, and aligned with your unique neurological and emotional needs.
My Story
I became interested in brain mapping during my doctoral research while working in a neuroscience lab, where I was introduced to QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalography), a non-invasive tool that measures the brain’s electrical activity and converts it into color-coded maps showing how different regions are functioning. QEEG helps identify patterns associated with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and cognitive concerns. In our research, we explored how a client’s emotional state affects the therapist’s brain and learned that different emotions activate different regions. Studies on emotional regulation and interpersonal neural synchronization show that the left prefrontal cortex is linked to approach-related emotions such as openness and happiness, while the right hemisphere—particularly the right amygdala and right temporal regions—is associated with withdrawal and avoidance behaviors such as fear, disgust, and discomfort. In simple terms, when we feel angry, stressed, or attacked, the brain shifts into a defensive, closed state; when we experience gratitude, compassion, or other positive emotions, it shifts into a more regulated, connected state.

Through this work, I deepened my understanding of brain waves. Brain waves are rhythmic, synchronized electrical impulses produced by billions of neurons communicating in the brain. Measured in Hertz (Hz) through EEG, they reflect different mental states, ranging from deep sleep (slow waves) to active thinking (fast waves). The five main types—Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta—help regulate alertness, emotion, and behavior. For example, beta waves are associated with active thinking, concentration, and problem-solving (though excessive beta can contribute to stress and insomnia); alpha waves support calm focus and emotional regulation; and theta waves are linked to deep relaxation, meditation, creativity, memory consolidation, and access to the subconscious mind.

After this research, I had my own brain mapped at the Peak Brain Institute, where I discovered my strengths, areas that overactivate under stress (including patterns affecting sleep), and areas that could improve with targeted techniques for focus. This experience was empowering and strengthened my understanding of how brain activity shapes thoughts, emotions, and behavior. I also learned that hypnotherapy is strongly associated with alpha and theta states—brain states that support deep relaxation and access to the subconscious mind. Since I am trained in hypnotherapy, I intentionally integrate a structured protocol into my clinical practice to support emotional regulation, focus, improved sleep, and deeper therapeutic processing. Additionally, I offer neuro-informed assessments in which I review brain mapping recordings and reports and develop individualized treatment plans with clear therapeutic goals tailored to each client’s unique brain mapping profile.
